Complete 4 activities
- Activity #1 Set Goals How many boxes of cookies can you sell? How many will the troop sell at booth sales? Set a goal for the number boxes you can sell.
- Activity #2 Have good manners selling cookies Talk to your customers about the different kinds of cookies, help them with choices by letting them know the different flavors and ask them if they would like to donate, and don't forget to thank your customers that come to your table, even if they don't purchase.
- Activity #3 Being a good friend or neighbor. Talk to your family and find out who you can sell cookies to and where. Your neighborhood, parents co-workers, place of worship, and family members. Make a list of people. Send an email or note thanking them for their purchase.
- Activity #4 Learn how to give proper change Practice handling money and making change. You can use pretend money and have customers in your troop purchase cookies.
- Activity #5 Have fun selling cookies. Create posters and displays. Role play with your troop selling cookies to each other. Have knowledge about each cookie and Girl Scouting.
- Activity #6 Spending Power Talk about how you are going to spend your cookie money. Make a list and the cost of activities. Do you have enough money or will you have to supplement with other funds? What did you spend your money on?
