We’re almost at the finish line — this Perseverance rover is set to touch down on Mars on Feb. 18, 2021. This robotic astrobiologist will search for signs of ancient life, pave the way for human exploration, and collect rock and soil samples for future return to Earth.
Landing on Mars is an incredibly difficult task, but the rover and the Mars team will persevere!
While we can’t invite the public to a face-to-face NASA Social event due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are excited to have you participate virtually and finish this #CountdownToMars with us.
NASA Social participants will get a chance to:

- Ask questions and get answers direct from NASA experts
