Movies, Fairy tales, and Theater [MINI patch program]
Earn this mini patch by learning about movies, plays or fairy tales, completing a craft, etc.

USE THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS AS A GUIDE> <b>COMPLETE 1</b>

1.  Play a game of charades of movies or fairy tales with your family or friends.

2.  Attend a movie or play with a friend or family member.  What did you like best about the movie or play?  What was your favorite character?

3.  Wouldn't it be exciting to spend the day at a real movie studio? Use your acting skills and participate in a play, act out a scene, volunteer to be a play, try out for an acting part, or work behind the scenes with ticket taking, make-up or backdrops.

4.  Watch a movie that was a fairy tale or book OR read a book that is a fairy tale.

5.  Visit a place that has behind the scenes for plays, movies, props OR anything associated with movies or theater. 

6.  Complete a craft, drawing, OR game that represents theater, fairy tales, or movies.

7.  Lights Camera Action!  Dress up for fun like you are going on the red carpet, a movie or play OR make an accessory to wear.

8.  Draw out a scene on a storyboard or comic book page of an existing story or create your own. Storyboard is a sequence of drawings, typically with some directions and dialogue, representing the shots planned for a movie or scene production.

9. Have a movie night with your friends!  You can make popcorn, snacks or fun drinks to enjoy while you watch a movie.  What did you like best about the movie?

10. Learn more about movie or performance words like actor, camera, director, dressing room, story board by completing a puzzle or activity sheet.
