Mystery (1.5 inch patch)

Earn this mini patch by learning about mysteries, fingerprinting or being a detective.
USE THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS AS A GUIDE> COMPLETE 1

1. Read a mystery book, watch a movie, or participate in a play.

2. Solve one of our mystery stories.   Free mystery kits here

3. Learn about different fingerprints or take your own fingerprints and compare them to designs.

4. Create outlines of shoe shapes on paper. Mix them all up and try to match the shoe outline to shoe without placing the shoe on it. If you have a group of people, then have each person outline their shoe and try to guess which paper belongs to who.

5. Use a coin or other objects that have a raised edge you can copy. Rub the pencil over it and see the detail come through on the paper.

6. Use tape and dusting powder to try and lift a print off of an item.

7. Work on a mystery puzzle or worksheet and find out who and why they completed the crime. 

8. Take a tour of a police station and learn how they solve some crimes and equipment they use.

9.  Complete a worksheet or game that you have to find the difference in two pictures. What was changed? This helps with evidence collecting skills.
