1. In Hawaii pineapples appear on tote bags, earrings, to quilts – the fruit symbolizes hospitality. Create an art project with a pineapple on it. Examples: drawing, stamp art, watercolors, or painting.

2. Create a food item using pineapples. Some examples include: Pineapple upside down cake, cookies, pie, pizza and more.

3. Pineapples are mostly grown in the Caribbean, South America, and other tropical areas. Learn more about a place that grows pineapples.

4. Learn about the parts of the pineapple. Where is the crown, skin, stem, and fruit? What can you eat and not eat?

5. Use your senses and discover a pineapple. How does it feel? What does the outside and inside look like? What color is it? How does it taste (sweet or sour)? Do you like the way it tastes?

6. Eat something with pineapple in it. Examples: Ice cream, yogurt, fruit salad, smoothie, cookies and more.

7. Complete a puzzle, maze, or game that involves a pineapple. Examples: Word search, scramble, jigsaw puzzle, pass the pineapple, or hide the pineapple.
