Explore the world of scouting like Juliette Low.

In the past, there were colorful worlds of scouting each topic represented a different color of the rainbow.   This patch represents Juliette Low, nicknamed Daisy, with a colorful petal representing each activity or topic to complete.

Complete ONE activity under each category to earn the charm. 

1. Fitness and heath world- There is a BINGO exercise sheet included in the kit. Other ideas are creating healthy snacks, assisting with meals, take care of pets, take time for yourself and hobbies, learn more about basic first aid, help your family with household tasks, learn more about caring for smaller children,  join a sport, dance class, or exercise in school.
2. Science-There is a worksheet about the solar system included in the kit. Other ideas are completing experiments, science of cooking (cookies, bread, and more), using a computer,  solving mysteries, math fun. learn more about the study of animals in the ocean (oceanographer): rocks and minerals (geology); space (astronomer); computers (engineer); building or designing houses; farming; plants and animals; puzzles; technology: weather; and more.
3. Outdoor-There is a worksheet about animals and footprints.  Other ideas include planting flowers and trees; visit a park, take a hike; use a compass; follow a map; winter fun activities like skating, sledding, and playing in the snow, care or ride horses; enjoy camping, outdoor cooking, smores, pitching a tent, or rolling up a sleeping bag; create an herb garden, play games or complete an activity outdoors.
4.  Leadership-There is a worksheet about setting goals in the kit. Other ideas are assisting another troop earn the badge or this patch; assist your family with chores, activities, and family;  assist with a scouting event like Thinking Day, Juliette Low Birthday, reward ceremony, or a  bridging event; invite younger scouts to an event or your meeting and complete an activity with them, choose a goal and complete it, give a speech or oral book report in school, complete a leadership role in school or scouting.  
5. Our World-There is a worksheet of a map and girls dressed in traditional clothing to complete in the kit.  Other ideas are to participate in Thinking Day or learn more about another country; read a folk tale, play a game, try a recipe, celebrate a festival from another country;  reach out and help someone in your community; attend a party, event or celebration; learn about geography and landmarks around the world; earn a patch about another country or the USA; learn about local folk lore, visit a historical site, play games or complete cultural activities or art; learn more about your heritage; travel to another city, state or country: design travel brochures or posters; visit a place that serves food from another culture.
6. Art-There is a worksheet about art in the kit. Other ideas include; create a painting, drawing, or sketch; create something for your room or home; create a sculpture from paper or clay; paint pottery; paper crafts like origami, books, scrapbooking, journals, etc.; create art to wear or design an outfit; sew something; knit, crochet, embroidery, macrame, or braid something; create a card, write a story or poem.
