Scrapbooking Badge

Badge Requirements (must complete 3-all levels):
1. Taking Photos
Take a photo to place in your scrapbook. Example:  A friend, pet, event,  a family or group
portrait, an action picture, a scenery picture OR a picture of yourself.
2. Supplies and photos
Collect photos of yourself and find out what supplies you will need to start a scrapbook.  Examples: scissors, paper, adhesive, and stickers.
3. Scrapbook
Purchase a scrapbook or a 3 ring binder with protectors, OR create a book from cardstock or other materials to create your own scrapbook. 
4. Letter Art
Use letter stickers, or create different kind of lettering with pens to be used for titles or journaling. (Do not use water based markers as they will fade)
5. Journaling
Journal in your scrapbook or on a paper to place on your scrapbook.  Journaling helps people remember names, feelings and activities that are presented in the photographs. It also helps people learn about the activities you completed. (Do not use water based markers as they will fade)
6. Page Layouts
Learn about the different ways to lay out a scrapbook page. Try using templates for photos or journaling. Use different colors of scrap paper strips of paper or place your photos is shapes on on colorful  shapes  to make your page more interesting.
7. Embellishments
Use other items like stickers, die cuts, paper strips, flower shapes, punch outs and more to decorate your scrapbook page.
8. Cutting
Try cutting different shapes and designs on paper, special scissors, or use punches that can help you experience the use of cutting paper.
9. Complete a gift
After you’ve made your book, use all of the ideas you have learned and create the perfect gift fa person.
